MX (Mixed Weather) : Matériaux hautement durables, respirants et mobiles. Pour des activités variées en temps mitigé.

Founded in 1989 by climbers in North Vancouver, at the foot of the North Shore mountains in Canada, Arc'teryx brings together enthusiasts who share its aspirations, as well as customers who appreciate its designs and aesthetic. The brand talks to outdoor enthusiasts who want the best equipment for their explorations.

Its name? It owes it to the Archaeopteryx Lithographica, the first reptile to have developed feathers in order to fly.

To create an equipment allowing the wearer to concentrate on his activity whatever the external conditions became the purpose of Arc'Teryx.

At Starcow, our motto is the same : to wear comfortable and technical clothes in which you feel good.

Our goal is to offer simple gear that allows all citizens to be immersed in their daily actions without paying attention to the challenges of the city and regardless of the conditions outside.

Whether you're into skateboarding, graffiti or outdoor sports, you'll always find the right gear at the shop.

Arc'teryx is full of different colors, ranges and names. For example, on the Beta LT Jacket, the first part of the name indicates the range of the product concerned.

In the 3rd layer clothing, there is the Beta range. These are waterproof and breathable garments, of "hardshell" type, with which all activities are possible. There is the Alpha range, also of « hardshell-type », designed for climbing and mountaineering in extreme conditions. It is waterproof and breathable.

And to finish, the Gamma range, made of highly breathable and waterproof elastic materials, known as "softshell", which is particularly resistant to rubbing during movement.

For the padded ranges, there are those with feathers with the Cerium, it is warm clothing, to wear as a second layer or outer layer in dry weather. There is also the Thorium range, classic feathered pieces, a little heavier.

In the Coreloft synthetic fiber range, we have the Proton : warm and technical clothing, thin and light, perfect for mountaineering. And finally the Atom range which offers versatile, thin and light thermal clothing. To be worn as a second or third layer in dry weather.

The second part of the name, in two letters, presents the characteristics of the products:

SV (Severe Weather) : The most durable and hard-wearing fabrics for regular use. Perfect for use in harsh conditions.

AR (All Round) : Versatile products with durable fabrics.

LT (lLightWeight) : Minimalist, lightweight and comfortable.

FL (Fast & Light) : Ultra light, suitable for movement activities in mild weather conditions.

SL (Superlight) : Lightweight but less durable fabrics, great ease of carrying.

MX (Mixed Weather) : Highly durable, breathable and mobile materials. For a variety of activities in mixed weather.
